PIE Performance are pleased to offer for sale this beautiful 1987 Porsche 928 Series 4 which has covered 101,807 miles from new. We know this car well at Pie Performance as we have looked after it since 2018, this is a remarkable grand tourer in highly original condition with the only aftermarket installation being a Pioneer CD player. This 928 S4 is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 engine producing 316 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque. This allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in approximately 5.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 165 mph, which is good even by modern day standards. Finished in Porsche Diamond blue metallic with contrasting original full marine blue leather interior with white piping to seats and full marine blue carpets throughout. Sitting on original unmarked 17” Cup alloy wheels. This is a very well-kept example with a raft of invoices to support this. Do not be put off by the age or mileage, the cosmetic appearance coupled with its excellent mechanical condition and the manner in which it drives means it looks and feels more like a 10-year-old Porsche with 50, 000 miles. It had a full bare metal respray during 2013 in the original colour.
The current owner has spent a small fortune on this 928 ensuring it is top condition. Pie Performance inspected the vehicle shortly after current owner purchased the vehicle. Anything and everything identified during this inspection as being broken, warn or just aged was replaced with OEM parts, the works completed following the inspection come to just over £16,000, invoice is present.
928s are becoming extremely rare to find in this condition. The car drives very well whether it be on main roads or the windier back roads. The interior and exterior are in such condition it’s hard to believe this is a 38-year-old car which has covered over 100,000 miles.
