Like most people we approached the prospect of converting cars to electric with some trepidation. It wasn’t long before we were not only impressed, but convinced we needed to offer the best available EV conversions to you.
ECO Classics are a leader in their field and after experiencing what’s achievable with their current Porsche conversions we had to join forces.

What's involved?
Our conversions are completely reversible using the original mounting points replacing your original gearbox and engine, which can of course be sold on to re-coup costs of the conversion.
We maintain the factory weight distribution with the placement of batteries both under the bonnet and in the engine bay.
We then install our bespoke wiring loom to suit your car with your additional needs met such as AV equipment, heating, air-conditioning and extras such as dash cams and reversing cameras.
We connect our unit to your existing drive shafts.
Brake upgrades are available, as are options for more power too with one test unit achieving a sub 4 second 0-60 time!

How does it drive?
The beauty of the ECO Classics conversion is the simplicity and that doesn’t stop with the installation. The interior of your Porsche remains mainly original with the addition of a control module giving you constant feedback of power remaining, speed and what gear you are in. With regards to gears again simplicity is the key and the original gearstick is used to move between Drive, Neutral and Reverse because much like an automatic these are the only 3 gears you will need, and yes only two peddles too.
The driving characteristics are very similar with the weight distribution, although slightly heavier than the dry original car, being almost identical.
The power delivery however is completely different. Instant, quiet and blisteringly quick with traction becoming the one restriction. No clutch slip, no flat spots, put your foot down and it really shifts.
