DRIVEN TOGETHER

Driven Together with PIE Performance

At PIE Performance, cars may be our business, but people are at the heart of everything we do.

We understand that life can sometimes feel demanding. Work pressures, family responsibilities, financial worries and the expectations we place upon ourselves can gradually become overwhelming. Even those who appear confident and successful can experience stress, anxiety, loneliness or periods when they simply do not feel like themselves.

Driven Together has been created from our genuine passion for wellbeing and our belief that nobody should feel they have to face difficult times alone.

More than a shared passion for cars

The automotive community brings people together. A shared interest in cars can start conversations, create friendships and provide a sense of belonging.

Through Driven Together, we want to use that connection for something even more meaningful: encouraging people to talk openly, support one another and make time for their mental and emotional wellbeing.

You do not need to have all the answers. Sometimes, simply having a conversation with someone who listens and understands can make a real difference.

Talk. Support. Strength.

These three words represent what Driven Together stands for.

Talk
Creating comfortable opportunities for honest conversations without judgement.

Support
Helping people realise that they are not alone and encouraging them to seek appropriate help when they need it.

Strength
Reminding people that speaking openly is not a weakness. It takes strength to acknowledge when life feels difficult and to accept support.

Wanting the best for our people

Our commitment to wellbeing begins within our own business.

We want the people who work with us, visit us and support us to feel valued, respected and welcome. A successful business should not only be measured by its financial performance, but also by the positive impact it has on its employees, customers and wider community.

We are committed to creating a workplace culture that encourages:

Open and respectful communication
A healthy balance between work and personal life
Time to pause, reflect and recharge
Genuine care for colleagues and customers
An environment where asking for help is accepted

We may not always know what somebody is experiencing behind the scenes, which is why kindness, patience and understanding are so important.

Driven by connection

Modern life is moving faster than ever. Technology makes many things more convenient, but it can also reduce genuine human connection.

Driven Together is about slowing down, checking in with one another and remembering that we are human beings - not simply human doings.

Whether it is a conversation over coffee, a drive with friends, a workshop event or a moment spent listening to somebody who is struggling, small actions can have a powerful impact.

Our commitment.

Driven Together is not intended to replace professional mental-health services. It is our way of raising awareness, reducing stigma and creating opportunities for people to connect.

We want to help build a community where people feel able to say:

“I’m finding things difficult.”
“I need someone to talk to.”
“I’m here to listen.”

Because whatever road life takes us down, we are stronger when we travel it together.

Driven Together Merchandise

Driven Together is about creating opportunities for people to connect, start conversations and remind each other that none of us have to face difficult times alone.
We currently have Driven Together stickers available, with more merchandise coming soon. Any profits made from merchandise will go directly to our chosen charity, Mind. The sticker is also intended to be a simple visual signal. If you see someone with a Driven Together sticker on their car, it generally means they are open to being approached for a conversation if you feel you need one.

We know that starting a conversation can sometimes feel awkward. You might not know what to say, or feel anxious about approaching someone you don't know. We hope the sticker can help remove some of those initial barriers and make that first step a little easier.

Sometimes it starts with something as simple as:
"Cool car."
"What year is it?"
"How long have you owned it?"
"Mind if I ask you a question?"
"Are you okay?"
You never know where a conversation might lead.

Because whatever road life takes us down, we are stronger when we travel it together.
Driven Together can support wellbeing and connection, but it is not a substitute for professional mental health support.

If you’re finding things difficult, need someone to talk to, or are supporting someone who is, Mind offers information, advice and support.
