Free Pre-Winter Checks

Our free winter health checks were very popular last year, we tend to offer them as part of our Saturday surgery but if you can't make it on a Saturday morning let us know when suits you and we will fit you in during the week. 

 

 

We are open (most) Saturday mornings and they are generally a more relaxed affair than during the week, especially with our new coffee area which customers seem to be embracing. 

 

The surgery aspect is something we’ve been offering for a couple of years now which means that by appointment you can come and spend some time with us to talk about servicing and upgrade options on your Porsche. For a small fee, we can run a complete system diagnostic check to make sure everything is functioning as it should be. 

 

The coffee machine will be up and running and you can even buy some of our own Performance Blend coffee to take away with you. 

 

 

With Winter approaching its important, whether you use your Porsche daily or just socially, that everything is Winter ready. It sounds a bit dramatic as you should be able to just use a car all year round right? Well, not exactly. The colder months put more strain on your electrical system, lights, wipers, tyres, and when they salt the roads, your suspension and brakes suffer too. If you’ve got a slow starter a cold weak battery won’t help, if your tyres have had a summer of fun they might be too far past their prime to cope with the weather ahead, or even past their use-by date? As part of our free winter check we will put your car up on a ramp and check your lights, washers and wipers, we’ll check underneath for any surface corrosion, split boots, tyre age, battery health, brake line condition and brake wear. Pretty much everything which will suffer between now and next Spring. Your Porsche might not need anything at all, fantastic! Or there may be things we’d advise but might not be urgent. Or we may just find something which really needs sorting right away. Either way you will have the peace of mind to carry on as normal despite the weather. We carry most wipers, batteries etc in stock so we can fit them while you are with us. Anything more specific we can get ordered right away before the weather sets in. We can even supply and fit winter wheels and tyres transforming your grip and shortening your stopping distance compared to a cold summer tyre.
